Goldenberries, also known as Physalis Peruviana, is a Peruvian fruit that has high concentrations of nutrients and bio-active compounds. Its bitter and sour taste creates an agreeable flavor on the palate and is considered a superfood due to its health benefits and high content of Vitamin C.
Resembling a golden raisin but with a flavor that is sweeter and tart, golden berries are an extremely nutrient-dense superfood with easily absorbable bioavailable compounds.

The year we started producing superfoods, we founded Happy Little Faces, a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for impoverished children in our local community of Lima, Peru. In 2010, we built a kindergarten from scratch, providing free education, lunches, and extra-curricular activities for local children who would otherwise not have these opportunities.
